Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

The online quote I have just got is great but is there any way I can get the price down even further?

If you contact us we can often help reduce the price further by means of different payment options, temp and fit lead time options and also let you know if any of your chosen colours will be on offer in the coming weeks.

I am not sure if the information i have put in to get my quote is totally correct, is there any way I can get someone to have a look at my plans and contact me to tell me what I actually do need?

Yes of course we can hold your hand through the whole process start to finish, if you can scan and email your plan to us we can take a look that way, alternatively you could fax us your plans or layouts, if you wanted you could even post out the details to us. If you look at our Quote Assistant PDF it will highlight the key measurements and markings we require to help you get the most accurate quote possible.

I only want to replace my Worktops not my Kitchen units, can you just clad over the existing tops?

No, all worktops would need to be removed before the template date so the fitter can assess the units to see if they require additional support and also to ensure the units are level.

What are the lead times from Template to fit?

7 days is our normal lead time, however we understand that people lead hectic lives and we will always try to arrange a schedule that suits the individual needs of each project.

How do I get a quote?

You can use our online step by step quoting system, or fax us a kitchen drawing or just give us a call and we will talk you through it.

What is a template?

A template is an exact replica of what your worktops will be like detailing joint positions, hob, sink and tap cut out positions for your approval.

What do I need for a template?

All the kitchen units need to be in their final positions, levelled up and fixed back to the wall. Hob, sink and tap information and templates need to be on site too.

My walls need plastering and then I am to have them tiled, can I do this in between the template and fit?

No absolutely not, if the walls are in need of re plastering then it should be done before the template is done as because the template is an exact replica of the worktops no changes can be made once this has been done. It is always a far neater job to tile after the granite has gone in.

Do I need to be there at the template and installation?

Ideally yes, however if you cannot be present then someone with your authority to sign off the templates and installation to confirm the work is correct.

I don’t live anywhere near your factory, how far do you cover?

We provide a nationwide service so don’t worry, simply let us know your postcode and we will make sure it gets there.

How do I place an order?

When you have your quote simply submit it to us and then one of our team will call you back to check the details with you and arrange a template date.

When and how do I pay?

An initial deposit is required at the time of booking and then the balance is due upon the satisfactory installation, we accept most major cards, cheque and cash. For non-card transactions the funds must be cleared before installation of the worktops.
